2 Corinthians 12 : 9
But He said to me,
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

The Purpose Of Christian Love
Is anyone among you sick?
The he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of our Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
James 5 : 14 - 16
About Chaplains
A Chaplain is foremost an ambassador of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
-
You are here to bring Gods love to a sad, hurt and broken world.
-
Unless you are registered with one of the 2 following organisations you MAY NOT refer to yourself as a counsellor.
-
In order to practice as a Counsellor, you need to be registered with a Council. One cannot claim from medical aids, but one can charge a reasonable fee. The 2 counsills are the Council for Counsellors and Council for Pastoral and Spiritual Counsellors.
-
Chaplains are PASTORAL or LAY COUNSELORS.
-
There is not a place on the planet earth where a chaplain could not be of service to people. That is why Chaplains can be placed into every sector of society. These sectors include government, business, schools, media, arts and entertainment, churches and family. Chaplains work in many environments. Some corporations, music groups, and even households (historically the nobility, and now certain monarchs), may also employ chaplains.
On most incidents, the C/TS are usually the ones who are free (not busy with the scene at hand) to assist with emotional, hysterical people. The C/TS is also of great assistance in the relaying of information between all the role players on scene.
Listen attentively and relay the CORRECT information. NO hearsay or speculations.
A chaplain is essentially a spiritual representative attached to a secular institution. Chaplains may or may not be certified, have a theological education, or be ordained or commissioned by a particular denomination, all though many are. While chaplaincy has traditionally been associated with representatives of the Christian faith, the term is now used for representatives of any faith. Some chaplains are expected to represent multiple faiths, acting as a sort of neutral spiritual resource.
Chaplains are expected to serve the spiritual and emotional needs of others. Some chaplains can perform wedding or funeral ceremonies, administer communion, deliver spiritual messages, offer prayer at public meetings, and provide regular pastoral counselling. Other chaplains meet the need of the moment, usually through listening and prayer. Chaplains may also function as advocates; hospital chaplains, for example, may help with requests of a nurse to help meet a particular patient's needs; military chaplains may provide for marriage enrichment retreats.
